Ever visited a caravan park and thought “Is this place right for me?”

Here at Pentre Mawr we cater mainly for more mature customers, with a large percentage of our customers being semi or fully retired. Children are welcome but we do not cater directly to them, as we do not have a play area and unfortunately we do not allow bicycles or ball games in the park.

Not every caravan park suits every customer, and if loud noisy bars and clubs are what you are looking for then that is absolutely fine but Pentre Mawr is certainly not the right park for you! Our owners like to relax in our safe and secure community environment, where they know their neighbours, can pass the time of day with other owners, tend to their gardens or just simply relax on their decking in the fresh coastal air and lovely sunshine.

  • Can I bring my static from another site on to Pentre Mawr?

    You may bring your caravan from another site, depending on its condition. Alternatively, we offer a part-exchange service where you can trade in your existing static, caravan or motorhome against the cost of a new or used holiday home on Pentre Mawr. You can find out more about this HERE.

  • How long is the season?

    Our season is 9 months, running from 1st March to 30th November.

  • Is this a residential site?

    No we are a private owners caravan park.

  • Are there age limits for caravans?

    We don’t actively enforce a tenure policy, however if we would make a consider caravan age on a case-by-case basis. All we ask is that you keep yours presentable and in good working order.

  • Do you offer part exchange?

  • Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, well behaved dogs are very welcome. We just ask that you keep your pooch under control and on a lead when out in the park, and also clean up any mess immediately. There are lots of places to visit with your dog close by.

  • Are caravans available for hire?

    Sorry, we don’t hire out caravans as we are a private owners park.

  • How much are your caravans?

    The plots currently available at Pentre Mawr start at £24,995. We’re currently offering free site fees for the year of purchase, saving you up to £4,195.

  • How much are your site fees?

    For 2026, our site fees are £4,195 for the year which runs from March to December.

  • How can I pay my site fees?

    We offer our owners flexibility with site their fee payments: They can be paid annually, monthly, or half-yearly. We also offer discounts for early payment for the forthcoming year.

  • How much are your rates?

    Our rates are charged annually at £754.52. Gas and electricity are metered individually.
