Owning a holiday caravan comes with a small number of annual running costs to consider.
The main running cost is for plot/pitch rent, billed annually during October and paid by 15th December. This covers your caravan sited on the chosen pitch and ensures the quality is kept at the highest levels. For the 2024 season, our rent is £3,225+VAT.
The second charge is for what we call rates for ease. This is made up of several different charges, such as local authority fees and garbage removal. The rates are billed annually in April for payment by 1st June. For July 2024 to June 2025, our rates are £740.67.
At Pentre Mawr, we have mains gas and electricity. Both of these services are metered individually, so our owners simply pay for what they use. Gas and electricity for all caravans is billed twice, once in July and once in December.
Our owners are free to compare the market with regards to insurance for their holiday caravan, although we do have a recommended provider. Similarly to your house, most people like to cover for structure and contents.
